Baby With Down Syndrome Joins His Mom’s Modelling Agency

Meet Micah Quinones.

His mom, Amanda Booth, is a 26-year-old model from Los Angeles. Booth and her husband, Mike Quinones, found out that their son was diagnosed with Down syndrome when he was three months old.

Booth has been modelling for the past 10 years, and she has appeared in campaigns for Corona, Old Navy, Target and True Religion, among others. The gorgeous model – and a first time mom – realized early on that her beautiful son shares her love of the camera.

Booth says that as soon as the camera comes out, Micah looks straight into it. After signing up her adorable 11-month-old baby with her own agent, Booth hopes that she will be able to work with her son one day, especially because she is still breastfeeding.

In the meantime, Booth is documenting her toddler’s adventures and she is sharing them on Instagram. Micah has his own account and more than 22,000 followers. His profile description says: “My name is Micah, I’m a Leo, and enjoy long bubble baths.”

Booth said that she and her husband didn’t know that their baby had Down syndrome because they opted not to do any prenatal testing. The mom-of-one said that the results would not have changed anything, so there was no reason to bother with the stress. Booth went on to explain that they were very fortunate because Micah was not born with any heart abnormalities, which are common in babies with Down syndrome.

Booth admitted that she was worried about all the “scary possibilities” Micah could face following his diagnosis, but as the time goes by, she and her husband are thinking about it less and less. She said that their baby is incredible and that they are living their lives, not tracking Micah’s progress.
